B-52 THREE-BAY CONVENTIONAL MUNITIONS MAINTENANCE FACILITY
CTI served as the prime contractor on this new B-52 Three-Bay Munitions Maintenance Facility (MMF) at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. This completed design-build project encompasses 17,500 square feet of hangar and administrative space. The facility provides support to the expanded mission and personnel associated with the bed down of 10 additional B-52 bombers.
The facility is divided into two spaces. Three munitions bays total 10,056 square feet and are classified as general industrial space. The administrative space connects to the munitions bays and houses offices, locker rooms, break/training rooms, and fire pump and mechanical and electrical rooms.
Site work for this project includes GOV parking, POV parking for 72 vehicles, access roads, and 6-foot security fencing.
