Re-roof Building 8030, Fort Carson, CO
CTI served as Prime Contractor on this project, a delivery order under the Roofing IDIQ at Fort Carson and Schriever AFB, Colorado, and self-performed 100 percent of the work. Building 8030 was a re-roof project of 190,000 square feet. The existing roof was a built-up roof with gravel. The gravel was removed, and the roof was re-covered and coated with a polyurethane foam roofing system, thereby saving the customer the cost of removing the roof. This also helped achieve maximum energy savings. The work on this project brought the roof up to the R30 for Insulating Value.
Re-roof Building 20,000, Fort Carson, CO
The CTI Team was responsible for reroofing Building 20,000, a 100,000-square foot building. The scope of work was 100% self-performed. The existing roof was approximately 40 years old and was leaking. To fix this, the metal was fastened to the deck and a four-inch coating of polyurethane foam was sprayed over the top with a bio-base roof coating application over the polyurethane foam.
