Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord is an approximately 93,000-acre military reservation located in Western Washington and is a major military facility for both weapons qualifications and field training. CTI was tasked to clear and grub the maneuver trails to remove sight restrictions, encroachment of vegetation, and to clear ditch areas. The area was then excavated, and maneuver trails were filled as needed to achieve proper storm water drainage and maneuverability.
The infill and compaction of gravel and rock completed the project and delivered the facility with properly groomed and useful maneuver trails for their military training exercises.
