The Weber Center parking terrace was originally construction in 1964, with considerable repairs and rehabilitations in 1995 and 1997. The parking structure consisted of 3 levels and accommodated 242 parking stalls. Over time, the parking structure has incurred significant deterioration and has reached its end of life expectancy. CTI was tasked with the safe demolition of this 3-level parking structure and completion of a new one-level surface parking lot in its place.
Demolition of the structure was completed through careful processes, ensuring public safety as the primary goal. Once demolished, a new parking lot was installed, including site draining connections to the existing city drains. During the demolition process, CTI unearthed fascinating relics of historic Ogden including a section of wooden water lines.
